I ran across a nice website today called Teaching Ancient Philosophy. It looks like it has some good material for teachers and students, including links to texts online. I found the chronology particularly helpful. Here’s an example:

fl. 3rd century AD

  • Diogenes Laertius (fl. 3rd cent. AD), famous biographer of ancient philosophers.
  • Plotinus (205-270 AD), Platonic philosopher and founder of Neoplatonism.
  • Porphyry (233-309 AD), Neoplatonist, pupil and biographer of Plotinus.
  • Iamblichus (242-327 AD), important Neoplatonic philosopher.

(The links [not every name has a link] seem to go to the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy).

Does anybody know if there is anything like this for the Early Church Fathers online?
